Unus Mundus has been wanting to do this for awhile, but always got side tracked.
そこで、インドネシアのマラン出身のバンド、Nugatoriaが、私たちのプラットフォームで彼らを宣伝してほしいと依頼してくれたことに感謝します。世界中のバンドを紹介し、情報を発信することで、より広々のネットワークを構築したいと真剣に考えてた。ということで、これが私たちの最初の「友達の音楽をチェックしてみて」投稿です。
So we thank the Malang Indonesia band Nugatoria for asking us to give them a bump, push, shout out, etc., on our platforms. Seriously wanted to give mentions and send out info about bands from all over the world, so more and more networks can form. So here is our first “Check out some of our friend’s music”.
Nugatoriaを初めて知ったのは、2024年のアルバム『Black Speed Rock ‘N’ Roll EP』でした。Dビートのヘヴィロック調の3曲は、オープンカーで砂漠の道を長距離ドライブする際に何度もリピート再生したくなるような曲です。Nugatoriaは自らをクラストと称しているが、Nugatoriaの音楽のクリーンなハードロック要素は、クラシックなクラストよりも際立っている。もちろん、最近になってライブ会場で耳栓を使い始めたばかりなので、聴力は悪化している。
First heard of Nugatoria from their 2024 album Black Speed Rock ‘N’ Roll EP. 3 songs in a D-beat heavy rock style which would seriously be on repeat during a long drive across a desert road in a convertible. They define themselves as crust, but the clean hard rock elements of their music stand out more to me than classic crust. Oh course, my hearing is getting worse over time due to an only recent discovery of ear plugs at shows.
Nugatoriaは実際には2010年代初頭から活動しており、最新作のTriple Speed Bastardを除いても5枚のリリースがある（Born To Distordも私にとっては完全に完璧だ）。最新作Triple Speed Bastardでは、ボーカルがより直接的に前面に出ており、音楽のミックスもよりヘビーになり、それらすべてが彼らの核となるヘビーロックサウンドの上に重ねられている。
Nugatoria has actually been around since the early 2010s and have 5 other releases (Born To Distord also completely works for me) not including the newest Triple Speed Bastard in which the vocals are more directly shoved in your face along with a heavier mix to the music all laid over their core heavy rock sound.
歌詞は概ねインドネシア語で、反権威主義、労働者の権利擁護、生活やシーンにおける連帯、そして自由の意味に焦点を当てている。
The lyrics are generally in Indonesian, and focus on anti-authoritarian, pro-worker’s rights, solidarity in life and in the scene and what freedom means.
